Dickies is a workwear brand established in 1922 by C.N. Williamson and E.E. Dickie in Fort Worth, Texas.
Starting from a predecessor hat manufacturing company, they began creating workwear for laborers and completed the prototype of KHAKI work pants in 1923.
During World War II, they supplied uniforms to the U.S. Army, earning a reputation for high quality.
After the war, the demand for workwear revived, and popularity expanded among Texas oil workers.
As they wore it in the Middle East, Dickies grew into a global brand.
In 1967, the now-classic "874" was born.
