[HOUSTON] Lip Baker Pants

From HOUSTON, the ripstop cotton fatigue pants that combine thinness and durability have arrived.

Fatigue pants are work pants that were adopted by the U.S. military for operational use, featuring external pockets on the front and back.
The prototype of fatigue pants was workwear for bakers, which is why they are also called baker pants.

Ripstop fabric is a slightly lightweight material woven with reinforcing threads in a grid pattern at intervals of 5 to 8 mm, designed to combine breathability and strength for use in tropical zones such as jungles and deserts. The name comes from its structure that prevents tearing (Rip) and stops (Stop) it.
The fibers are sewn in a grid pattern, preventing further tearing of the fabric in case it does rip.

The front features a zipper fly made with high-quality YKK zippers.
On the left and right, there are two external patch pockets, which are a characteristic of fatigue pants, and at the back, there are two buttoned flap pockets.
The waist has an adjuster, allowing for the length around the waist to be adjusted.
The silhouette is a slightly relaxed straight fit, with a somewhat deeper rise.

More than half a century after its standard adoption, it continues to be a beloved representative of military pants.
The more you wear it, the more the texture and affection increase; this is a highly recommended piece.

"Please take this opportunity to experience the next level of military proposed by HOUSTON."

【HOUSTON】
HOUSTON started in 1972.
At that time, when the habit of casually wearing military attire had not yet permeated, we made an impact by being the first in Japan to manufacture original flight jackets.

The current Union Trading Co., Ltd., which launched HOUSTON, was founded in 1947 in Omiya City, Saitama Prefecture.
Ten years later, it will start retailing as Makino Shokai, repairing and selling surplus clothing from U.S. military bases.
In 1960, sewing equipment was introduced, and production of cold-weather clothing and workwear began.
In 1972, when HOUSTON was born, it was reorganized into Makino Shoji Co., Ltd., and thereafter, it established Omiya Sangyo Co., Ltd., thereby developing a full-scale production system.
"In the meantime, it has played a role in spreading military fashion and American casual style along with the post-war development of Japan, gathering support from many fans."

The current company name was established in 2001.
In 2008, another original brand "JOEY" was launched, establishing its position as a fashion manufacturer.
