Traditional Style Shoes
In 1905, a shoe factory was established in a small town called Red Wing in Minnesota, USA.
It is the Red Wing Shoe Company named after the town.
The founder, Charles Beckman, who passionately referred to himself as "Shoe Man," along with 14 companions who shared his vision.
Even now, with a commitment to domestic production in the United States, a modest pricing strategy that contradicts the authentic craftsmanship, and other conditions, it has grown into a brand that represents work boots around the world.
Nowadays, the red feather is used as a logo.
In Japan, Red Wing Japan is responsible for importing, planning, and production, and the model numbers and models differ from those of the American Red Wing company.
In 1954, Red Wing Shoes developed the "Postman Shoes" for postmen and policemen.
In 1958, the chukka type was also added to the lineup.
In 1960, the design was improved, becoming a sleek model with a one-piece leather upper, and it became a bestseller loved by postmen across the United States.
Postmen, carrying heavy bags on their shoulders, walked miles every day to deliver letters and packages filled with various thoughts of the people.
The shock-absorbing cushioned sole and the leather that wraps securely around the foot must have been an invaluable tool for the postman who walks tirelessly every day.
*Notes on Leather Material
Due to manufacturing circumstances, the upper leather is available in two types: glossy and matte. We sincerely apologize, but please understand that you cannot choose between them.
