☆Our shop, CALZARTES, does not only focus on products made in India but also sells collections manufactured by companies and factories in Japan, Bangladesh, China, and other countries with which we have long-standing and trusted relationships.
This product was produced at a shoe manufacturer located in Nara Prefecture. It was originally made for government agencies (firefighters), but due to minor specification differences, it could not be delivered. *There are no issues with the performance of the shoes themselves. The 'official specification' for the upper around the opening is 'single stitch'. However, these shoes were sewn with 'double stitch', which is why they could not be delivered due to specification differences.
This time, they are being sold exclusively from the manufacturer’s stock. Also, the insole is a [manufacturer brand].

【Features of this product】
This product is assembled, sole attached, finished, and inspected at a shoe manufacturing factory in Nara Prefecture.
(The upper leather cutting, sewing, and synthetic rubber sole are manufactured in China.)

‘Upper material’ Leather (surface: lacquer finish)
→ A resin coating has been applied to the surface by spraying, providing some water resistance. If the surface gets wet in rain, please gently wipe it with a dry cloth.

‘Outsole’: Non-slip design synthetic rubber sole

‘Insole’: The entire back side of the insole (sock insole) is made with EVA cushioning material. It reduces the feeling of impact from the ground.

‘Final finishing’: Hand-polished finish by craftsmen at a domestic factory in Japan.

To reduce packaging costs, a white box made from recycled paper is used for one pair. There may be minor scratches or stains, but we appreciate your understanding. The reduced packaging costs are passed on to our customers.

Since natural materials are used, there may be a characteristic (natural leather’s inherent) smell, but this is not a defect. If you are concerned, placing the shoes in a well-ventilated shaded area may help reduce the smell.
