"Maria Portugal Terracota" started in 1900 from a small workshop in Portugal.
It was named Maria Portugal Terracota in 2015 in honor of a woman named Maria, who was engaged as a craftsman at the time, and her passion for creation and wonderful works.
At the time of its founding, each piece was handcrafted by skilled artisans, but after the Industrial Revolution, traditional handcrafting was retained while using electric potter's wheels for more efficient shaping, and the items were fired in wood kilns and sold in nearby markets.
Even after more than 100 years, we continue to inherit the passion and tradition of our founding works while incorporating new technologies and working on development.
