Material Points
We are using a material called "Minotex" from Teijin.
The traditional Japanese rain gear made from rice straw, "mino."
Inspired by the structure of this cloak that "slides water and repels rain," it is a material that incorporates a micro-gutter structure on the surface of the fabric (a structure that directs water droplets in the warp direction, while the weft direction features a convex structure to reduce the surface tension of the fabric, allowing droplets to roll off).
