Using durable and sturdy denim fabric from Okayama Prefecture Ibara City (the birthplace of Okayama denim) with a warp of 7 and a weft of 12.5 ounces, featuring slight stretch and selvage denim.
Enjoy the changing texture with domestically produced denim that becomes softer and more comfortable the more you wear it, allowing for long-term use and various changes.
Rigid: Unwashed denim with starch applied.
As you wear it, it will fade and develop unique color and wrinkles, allowing you to enjoy creating your own fading and character from scratch.

▽Design
Looks like vintage replica jeans but is a model designed for ease of wear.
The leather patch and tag are commissioned from domestic manufacturers, creating a rugged yet modern first lot denim.
The leather patch bears the old logo, no longer in use.
The tag is inspired by the "main store" building from Showa 55 (1980).
Although unnecessary with current sewing techniques, it features hidden rivets in vintage denim detail.
Enjoy the fading of jeans that let you feel Marukawa on your skin and craft the best pair.
Available in two colors: rigid/one wash.

MACHIDA MARUKAWA "Main Store" closed in March 2021, ending a 60-year-long history as a landmark in Machida.
Starting as a bookstore founded in 1948 (Showa 23), it opened the jeans shop Marukawa "Main Store" at its current location in 1962.
From 1966 onward, it began full-scale chain expansion.
It became a pioneer in roadside-style jeans shop chains.
To embody the memory of MARUKAWA "Main Store," a project was launched to create products that evoke the store’s image, including jeans and Gジャン (Gジャン), that have been involved since the founding, so that when you see these items, the memories of the "Main Store" vividly come back.
The products themselves are authentic straight-leg jeans made in the late 1950s to 1960s, reproducing the silhouette and details from that era.
Although no domestic manufacturers produced denim fabric and sewn domestically at that time, all efforts were made to use only domestic materials.
