Debuted in the Spring/Summer 2013 collection by Mr. Masayuki Ino and Mr. Takashi Murakami, who gained experience at Mihara Yasuhiro.
The brand name 'doublet' is derived from the wordplay 'Doublet' by Lewis Carroll, who is also famous as the author of 'Alice in Wonderland.' This game involves changing one of two given words, one letter at a time, into the other, following a set of rules.
Just like this wordplay, the concept is 'Uncomfortable Everyday Wear' that combines basic and standard items with sudden ideas, offering a full range of items from clothing to accessories.
