Ariessi Firenze (Florence) wall clock
Designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1965, the Florence wall clock was created for the La Casa Abitata exhibition held at the Strozzina Palace in Florence, and was reissued by Ariessi in 1996.
The combination of Roman numeral dial and hands evokes an elegant design reminiscent of Florence's cityscape.

Achille Castiglioni was born in Milan in 1918 and began working as an architect and designer in 1938 alongside his brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo.
He was one of Italy's master designers and a founding member of the Italian Industrial Design Association (ADI). He received the Compasso d'Oro award.
