A distinctive technique is used to express the dull metallic coloring in ceramics and tableware.
Iron-rich clay is used, and it is fired at a slightly lower temperature of about 1250℃ than porcelain during the final firing.
To enhance the beautiful coloration of the iron content in the clay and the finishing hues, a black glaze is applied, and pigments of copper and silver are mixed by hand.
Using a sea sponge creates a unique touch on the surface. Finally, a decorative firing at 840℃ is performed,
resulting in the characteristic "copper-colored ware".
