【DOGTOWN】
Founded in the 1980s in Venice Beach, California.
The brand's origins lie with the legendary skate team "Z-BOYS," which included Al Adams, Jay Adams, and Peralta, who gathered at the surf shop ZEPYER.
The founder, Jim Muir, is a member of the Z-BOYS and the brother of Mike Muir, the vocalist of Suicidal Tendencies.
The brand name "DOGTOWN" is derived from a nickname for a part of Venice that had become a ruin, symbolizing the center of West Coast youth culture, including surfing, custom cars, graffiti, street gangs, and skating.
