In 1952, Nathan Schwartz, who would later become the founder of Timberland, purchased the rights to the Abington Shoe Company and began manufacturing shoes.
In 1973, the company released the Yellow Boots, the world's first completely waterproof leather boots.
Later, the company changed its name to "The Timberland Company," using the brand name of these boots, "Timberland."
Since the 1980s, the company has actively expanded its business overseas.
We also began manufacturing and selling apparel, accessories, etc., and expanded into a total outdoor lifestyle brand.
We are also involved in various other activities, including social contribution activities and addressing environmental issues.

There is an abundance of craftsmanship involved.
The upper is made from better leather produced by tanneries rated silver or higher by the Leather Working Group.
It's also highly functional, and although the shoe has a slightly low heel, the 360° lacing system improves the overall fit.
Furthermore, the use of a lug sole sets these shoes apart from other moccasins.
It goes very well with basic pants such as denim and chinos, making it a pair of shoes you'll definitely wear often.
