In the summer of 1994, Kim Gordon of SONIC YOUTH launched it together with Daisy Von Fohr, who was both a friend and a shop staff member of "XLARGE."
In 1991, Mike D of the BEASTIE BOYS, who was involved with XLARGE, reached out to Kim, with whom he had previously had interactions.
The clothes that Kim and Daisy want to wear, in other words, their real clothes-like items, were launched as X-girl, along with items that incorporated graphics and designs.
