Found in California, a bag carried by newspaper delivery children in the 1930s

Heavy canvas shoulder bag "NEWSBOY BAG"


The material features vintage-style canvas with a washed finish, and

the adjustable parts use iron components.


The wide shoulder handle reduces strain on the shoulder, and

the spacious gusset remains true to the original design,

with the length of the shoulder handle adjusted shorter,

reconstructed as a body bag that conforms to the body.


The stitching on the shoulder handle is intentionally spaced randomly,

expressing the rugged vintage construction,

and details such as rivet fastening and sewing, seen in old-style newsboy bags,

are faithfully reproduced.


The craftsmanship and creation passed down through the years

are captured as an "aesthetic," allowing it to age with one's own body,

becoming a unique, timeless product that can be inherited into the future.


T.T/T.T/TAIGA TAKAHASHI

Taiga Takahashi is a brand by Japanese designer Taiga Takahashi. The brand concept is, "By reviving relics of the past, we excavate future artifacts."

Since his teenage years, he has collected clothing from 70 to 100 years ago through overseas antique dealers and art merchants. The collection numbers in the thousands. Through this collection, he researches clothing that exists now or in the future from an archaeological perspective.

In the autumn/winter season of 2021, he began a full-scale launch in Japan.

In April 2022, designer Taiga Takahashi passed away.

From the 2023-24 season, the brand name was changed to "T.T."

Taiga Takahashi was born in 1995. He entered the London International School of Arts and then progressed to Central Saint Martins. He gained experience as a design assistant at maison brands in Antwerp and London. After graduating, he started Taiga Takahashi in New York.
