In 1911, the establishment of Walter Martiny, a company producing rubber products in Turin, Italy, marked the beginning of SUPERGA's history, which spans over 100 years. The brand name originated from the rubber-soled shoes that were manufactured from the start, which were stamped with the name "Superga Cathedral," leading to the creation of the flagship model "2750." The current logo, designed by the renowned Italian designer Albe Steiner, was conceived with the concepts of minimalism and simplicity. Entering the 1970s, SUPERGA supported the feet of numerous athletes, including tennis players, and its reputation spread not only throughout Italy but across Europe, establishing a solid position as a top sports shoe brand. In the 1981 US Open, Ivan Lendl's victory brought the name SUPERGA to the world stage. Subsequently, SUPERGA became a fashion icon among young people, opening its first SUPERGA-only store in Italy in 2004. Today, it has expanded its operations to over 100 countries, continuing to grow as a global brand by engaging in branding with various renowned brands and utilizing celebrities as ambassadors.
