doublet... a Japanese men's brand [ダブレット].
Debuted in the Spring/Summer 2013 collection by Mr. Masayuki Ino and Mr. Takashi Murakami, who gained experience at Mihara Yasuhiro.
The brand name 'doublet' is derived from the wordplay 'Doublet' by Lewis Carroll, who is also famous as the author of 'Alice in Wonderland.' This game involves changing one of two given words, one letter at a time, into the other, following the rule of transforming the initial word into the final one.
Just like this wordplay, it is based on basic and standard items, with a concept of 'discomforting everyday wear' that mixes sudden ideas, offering a full range of items from clothing to accessories.
Show and look often feature female models, and while it is men's wear, it also has a unisex vibe, attracting fans of both genders.
