■ Vulcanization process
This method involves adding sulfur to raw rubber and heat-reacting it to bond and mold the rubber sole to the upper.
As a result of this reaction, rubber gains elasticity and strength, making it suitable for sneaker soles.
Because the sole and upper are strongly bonded, they are durable and less likely to break, and they are resistant to losing their shape.
On the other hand, because it involves more manual work and is less productive compared to other manufacturing methods, there is a tendency to avoid it, but the exquisite and beautiful 'craftsmanship' that can only be created by skilled handwork is its charm.
