York (YOKE) is a Japanese unisex fashion brand.

Focusing on materials and patterns, I add contemporary elements to standard items. I propose sophisticated items that can be worn unisex.

The brand name "York (YOKE)" carries meanings such as "connect," "bond," and "the fabric used for switching clothes," which relate to the brand's concept. Many people are involved in the series of processes from raw materials → thread → fabric → cutting → sewing → finishing, and it is understood that clothing is created by these elements "connecting". The thought that "things connect people, people connect people, and people connect things" is embedded in this.

After graduating from Bunka Fashion College's Design Major, I built my career at domestic brands and select shops. I gained experience in design and production management and became independent in 2016. I started York in the autumn/winter collection of 2018.
