The brand "KAMIYA," named after designer Koji Kamiya, who has worked on the new line "MYne" for Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO, launched in the autumn/winter collection of 2023. While based on an oversized modern style incorporating elements of street and mode, the items reflect the designer's pursuit of vintage style, including clothing and sneakers. Utilizing expressions through damage processing, unique items that do not belong to any genre are developed. Designer: Koji Kamiya, born in 1995, from Aichi Prefecture. After graduating from high school, he started his apparel career in Osaka. Strongly influenced by the fashion culture that mixes vintage/archive with current items, he gained sales experience at vintage shops. He later apprenticed under Japan's leading designer Yasuhiro Mihara and became the director of the street label MYne at SOSU in 2018. He develops products that project his roots onto mode-inspired streetwear. In 2023, he changed the brand name and began activities as "KAMIYA."
