MIKIO SAKABE... Mikio Sakabe is a fashion brand based in Tokyo, created by Japanese Mikio Sakabe and Taiwanese Shue Jenfan.
Mikio Sakabe graduated from Esmod Paris in 2002, then went on to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, graduating at the top of his class in the fashion department.
Shue Jenfan met Sakabe while attending the art school La Cambre in Brussels, Belgium, and the two established the brand together.
Mikio Sakabe is widely known for supervising the shoes "JEWELRY," which feature a beautiful thick-soled design reminiscent of jewels, under the signature of grounds.
