In the summer of 1994, Kim Gordon of SONIC YOUTH launched this brand with her friend Daisy Von Furth, who was also a staff member at "XLARGE."
The collaboration began when Mike D of BEASTIE BOYS, who was involved with XLARGE since its inception in 1991, reached out to Kim, with whom he had previously established a connection.
By introducing the clothes that Kim and Daisy wanted to wear, essentially their real clothes items as X-girl, and developing items infused with graphics and designs, they gained attention as a women's street brand that not only influenced the fashion industry but also incorporated music and art as pioneers of the "GIRL’S MOVEMENT."
By integrating various elements from the street scenes of music, culture, and sports, they continue to propose basic and timeless items that adapt to the changes of the times as "real girls' street style."
