[COFILのお手入れ]
※With proper care, the filter can be used for a long time. After use, rinse with tap water as soon as possible. Additionally, rinsing with water or hot water before each use will ensure smooth flow and ease of use. Avoid washing with detergents.
※If used for a long time, the flow may become poor due to coffee bean oil buildup. In such cases, fill a pot with water to the level where the filter sinks, bring to a boil for about 10 minutes (boiling), and cleaning will improve the flow. Regular boiling is recommended.
※As an additional method to improve flow, dissolve baking soda in water and boil for about 10 minutes in the same manner, which will enhance flow compared to just boiling.
※The amount of baking soda should be 1-3 tablespoons per liter of water. Adjust according to the level of dirt.
※Adding baking soda to hot water will cause it to foam rapidly, which can be very dangerous. Always dissolve it in water before heating.
※Using baking soda in an aluminium pot will cause discoloration. If using baking soda, please use a stainless steel pot or similar.
※Powdered substances (such as coffee beans or matcha) cannot be used directly in the filter as they may cause clogging. Please be cautious.
