Founded under the concept of "What you truly want to wear, with your own hands," designer Consuelo Castiglioni established the brand. At the age of 25, Castiglioni married the president of the famous fur manufacturer "CiwiFurs," which handled Fendi's fur division. After giving birth to two children, she started "Marni" in 1994 as part of her husband's business. Initially, the brand focused solely on fur, but from 1996, it expanded to include knitwear and accessories, achieving complete independence by 1999. In 2001, a men's line was introduced. In 2012, a collaboration with H&M garnered worldwide attention. In Japan, long lines formed in front of shops, and items sold out immediately, making headlines in the media.
