■mossimo/Mossimo
Mossimo Giannulli grew up in an Italian family in Laguna Beach, Los Angeles.
Very stylish and popular, Mossimo found that he could not find what he truly wanted to wear in shops, so he designed and made his own brightly colored shorts for surfing. Those shorts, prominently featuring a large "M" on the back, became extremely popular among young people at the beach, receiving many orders.
This marked the beginning of the Mossimo brand. (1987)
Then, in 1998, at the young age of 32, he debuted at NY Collection and gained immediate attention.
Using unique colors, his comfortable and distinctive clothing continues to receive immense support from young people today.
