In the summer of 1994, Kim Gordon of SONIC YOUTH launched it together with Daisy Von Foerster, who was both a friend and a shop staff member of "XLARGE."
In 1991, Mike D of the BEASTIE BOYS, who was involved with XLARGE, reached out to Kim, with whom he had previously had interactions.
The clothes that Kim and Daisy want to wear, in other words, their real clothes items, were launched as X-girl, along with items that incorporated graphics and designs. As a pioneer of "GIRL'S MOVEMENT," it gained attention not only in the fashion industry but also in music and art, establishing itself as a ladies' street brand.
Incorporating various elements from the street scene of music, culture, sports, etc., we continue to propose basic and timeless items as "real girls' street style" in line with the changes of the times.
