MIKSHIMAI
MIXIMAI is a Korean-origin custom jewelry brand. Sisters Kim Se-eum and Kim Da-sul, who have studied abroad in Japan, started the brand in 2013 based in Korea. The brand name is a coined word derived from their surnames 'KIM' and the Japanese word for 'sisters (SHIMAI)'. They began making jewelry self-taught, and it grew into a popular jewelry brand loved by many K-POP idols. The designs feature colorful gummy bears and bijoux, combining various different materials.
It gained attention for being used in costumes of numerous K-POP idols such as BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan), BLACKPINK, NCT, and TWICE, but the deployment was temporarily limited due to the designer's busy schedule.
In December 2023, the brand celebrated its 10th anniversary and restarted. At the same time, it began handling products at LHP and made a comeback in Japan.
