CONVERSE
Born in 1908 in Malden, Massachusetts, USA.
Marquis M. Converse, who was a manager at Beacon Falls Rubber Company, focused on the regional characteristics of Massachusetts, which has heavy snowfall, dense forests, and wetlands, and established CONVERSE Rubber Shoe Company.
The following year, they started manufacturing rubber shoes that could be worn in rain and snow.
Marquis M. Converse's prediction was accurate, and CONVERSE rubber shoes received overwhelming support due to their high quality, growing into a major local company with 350 employees by 1910.
