The newly launched denim line "MODERN DENIM Series" proposes a relaxed silhouette that fits modern daily life.
Designed with a loose silhouette from the hips to the hem, it is intended to be worn with the hem rolled up.
The fabric is "JIMI CLOTH".
This fabric uses SUGARHILL's original left-twill denim "JIMI CLOTH," co-developed with Kuroki Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture.
The warp yarn is dyed pure indigo using Zimbabwean cotton No. 7, and the weft yarn also uses Zimbabwean cotton No. 7.
The 12.8-ounce regular denim fabric is woven with indigo-dyed warp yarn and undyed weft yarn.
The weft yarn is dyed light beige, adding depth to the fabric through the interaction of colors.

The most distinctive feature is that it is woven in a left-twill pattern.
By weaving left-twisted yarn in a left-twill weave, the yarn is tightly twisted, highlighting the wale (twill).
As a result, compared to the rough impression of right-twill, the left-twill has a more uniform surface, subtle luster, and a soft texture.
Furthermore, due to the raised wales, dirt becomes more noticeable over time, and vertical fading becomes more pronounced.

SUGARHILL is a Japanese fashion brand that started in 2016 by designer Rikuya Hayashi. The brand name is derived from the Sugar Hill neighborhood in New York, where designer Hayashi lived while attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.
