In the spring/summer season of 2024, Toshiaki Kaneko established "ILL ONE EIGHTY."
About ILL ONE EIGHTY: "ILL ONE EIGHTY" is a men's and women's fashion brand created by Toshiaki Kaneko, the former designer of "CAL O LINE."
The brand concept is "HALF A REVOLUTION."
It embodies the transformation that occurs when two opposites, such as yin and yang, old and modern, on and off, mountain and sea, Los Angeles and New York, mix together in a 180-degree contrast, reflected in the designs.
Designer Toshiaki Kaneko, who has been passionate about surfing since his teenage years, has been influenced by the surf street culture of the West Coast and various American cultures.
Utilizing his experiences and knowledge, he established ILL ONE EIGHTY after working as a director and designer for various brands and OEM products for select shops.
He is also well-versed in vintage fashion, proposing items that filter his observations and experiences through the atmosphere of the time.
